Education Provider Certification
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC is certified by the North Carolina Real Estate
Commission. The Commission’s address is 1313 Navaho Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.
Any complaints concerning the Education Provider or its affiliated instructors should be
directed in writing to the Commission. A link to the Complaint Form is provided on the
Commission’s homepage (ncrec.gov).
Per Commission Rule 58H .0204, the Education Provider must provide each
prospective student with a copy of the Education Provider’s Policies & Procedures
Disclosure (PPD) prior to payment of any non-refundable tuition or fee. The PPD, which
is required by the NC Real Estate Commission, outlines Education Provider policies
plus the rights and obligations of the Provider and the student. A signed certification that
a student received a copy of the PPD must be retained by the Provider.
NO STUDENT SHALL BE DENIED ADMISSION ON THE BASIS OF AGE, SEX,
RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, FAMILIAL STATUS, HANDICAPPING
CONDITION, OR RELIGION.

Course Offerings
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC conducts:
● the Broker Prelicensing Course required to qualify to take the license examination to
become licensed as a real estate provisional broker in North Carolina; and
● the Post Licensing Education Program needed for a provisional broker to remove the
provisional status of such license; and
● the annual Continuing Education courses needed to maintain a real estate license
on active status.
Broker Prelicensing Course
Course Description
To qualify for the North Carolina (NC) real estate license examination and obtain a NC
real estate broker license, successful completion of the Broker Prelicensing Course is
generally required. The primary goals of this course are:
1. To provide students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to
operate as licensed real estate brokers in North Carolina while upholding and
protecting the public interest.
2. To prepare students to succeed in the NC real estate license examination.
This course can only be offered by education providers certified by the NC Real Estate
Commission. At Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC, the Broker Prelicensing Course
includes a minimum of 80 instructional hours, which includes an end-of-course
examination.
Upon passing the Pre Licensing Course, students must submit a license application to
the NC Real Estate Commission to become eligible for the license examination.
Detailed application instructions are available in the free publication Real Estate
Licensing in North Carolina (RELINC), accessible on the Commission’s website at
www.ncrec.gov.
To obtain a real estate license in North Carolina, applicants must be at least 18 years
old.
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC Broker Prelicensing Course consists of a total of 80
instructional hours, including the end-of-course examination. Major topics addressed in
the Broker Prelicensing Course include basic real estate concepts and law, property
taxation, land use controls, environmental hazards, brokerage relationships and
practices, real estate contracts, real estate financing, closing a real estate sale
transaction, real property valuation, property insurance basics, fair housing laws,
landlord and tenant, property management, federal income taxation of real estate, basic
construction, basic real estate investment, North Carolina Real Estate License Law and
Commission Rules, and Trust Account Guidelines. Real estate mathematics is an
important component of this course and calculations will be required.
End-of-Course Exam
The end-of-course exam will be administered online through a secured examination
provider on the last regularly scheduled day of the class.
An end-of-course exam will not be administered to any student who does not satisfy the
course attendance requirement or if ALL assigned quizzes have not been completed.
Students are not permitted to bring laptops, tablets, cell phones, or similar electronic
devices (other than a basic calculator) into the testing site on the day of an exam. Any
student who brings such a device into the testing site on the day of an exam will be
required to remove it before the exam begins.
This restriction will not apply to the technology device the student is utilizing for the
actual examination.
Missed Exam
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC will NOT permit a Broker Prelicensing Course student who
misses the initial end-of-course exam to take a makeup exam, except in cases where
extenuating circumstances prevented the student from attending the final class. Approval for a
makeup exam is solely at the discretion of Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC.
Failed Exam
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC WILL allow Broker Prelicensing Course students who take
but do not pass the initial end-of-course exam to retake it ONE time. The retake exam, using a
second exam form, is typically scheduled one week after the initial final exam and is held at the
same time the class was originally scheduled, at no additional cost.
All retakes must occur within 30 days of the last scheduled day of the course, at a time
and date determined by Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC. If a student was not able
to attend the retake exam and needs to schedule their retake outside the designated
time set by Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC, a $50 monitoring and administration
fee may apply.
Eligibility Requirements for Course Completion Certificate
To successfully complete the Broker Prelicensing Course and receive a course
completion certificate, a student must:
a.) meet attendance requirements,
b.) timely submit completed in-class and take-home assignments, and
c.) pass the end-of-course exam with a minimum score of 75 %.
Any Broker Prelicensing Course must be completed (including passing the
end-of-course exam) within 180 days of enrollment.
All-Inclusive Tuition/Fees
Tuition for Broker Pre-licensing Courses at Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC is $470 and
includes all materials necessary for course completion, including access to the online learning
management system, presentation slides, worksheets, quizzes, midterm, and review
examinations. All course materials are provided electronically via the online learning platform.
Students will receive access to the platform in advance of the course to allow adequate
time for preparation and to print any materials they deem personally necessary.
If a student completes all course requirements but is unsuccessful on the end-of-course
examination, they may retake the Broker Prelicensing Course at any time within three
years of their original enrollment for a fee of $165.

Broker Postlicensing Education Courses
A Broker Postlicensing student must already possess a North Carolina Real Estate Broker
license prior to registration.
Purpose of the Postlicensing Program
The primary objective of Postlicensing Education Program is to provide instruction at a
level beyond that provided in the Broker Prelicensing Course on topics deemed to be of
special importance to licensees.
Per General Statute 93A-4(a1), provisional brokers must complete, within
eighteen (18) months following initial licensure, a postlicensing education
program consisting of ninety (90) hours of instruction in subjects determined by
the Commission in order to retain eligibility to actively engage in real estate
brokerage.
The Postlicensing program consists of three 30-hour courses prescribed by the NC Real
Estate Commission that may be taken in any sequence. Be aware that a postlicensing
course will expire two (2) years after its completion date. When a provisional broker has
timely completed all three (3) courses, the provisional status of the broker’s license will
be automatically terminated by the NC Real Estate Commission.
Course Descriptions
Post 301 - Brokerage Relationships and Responsibilities – (30 instructional hours)
Topics addressed in this course include a review of agency relationships in real estate
residential and commercial sales and commercial property management transactions, a
real estate broker’s legal duties to clients and customers, a step-by-step review and
discussion of the functions and responsibilities of a real estate broker when working with
sellers and buyers, a review of issues associated with transactions in progress when a
broker leaves a firm, and a review of license status and education issues.
Post 302 - Contracts and Closing - (30 instructional hours)
Topics addressed in this course include selected basic contract law concepts, real
estate sales contract preparation, sales contract procedures, buyer’s due diligence,
closing procedures, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, closing disclosure
preparation, contracts for deed, options, and selected real estate license status and
education issues.
Post 303 - NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts - (30 instructional hours)
Topics addressed in this course include general NC licensing requirements, brokerage
compensation issues, the disciplinary process, specialized types of real estate, property
management in NC, and miscellaneous laws and legal concepts.
Course Materials
Each student is required to use and have immediate access to the current editions of
the NC Real Estate Manual and North Carolina License Law and Commission Rules
booklet during each Postlicensing course session.
Real Estate Mastery Academy DOES allow students to use the online versions of the
NC Real Estate Manual and NC License Law & Commission Rules booklet during
classes.

All fees associated with the Broker Postlicensing Course offered at Real Estate
Mastery Academy are included in the initial registration fee.
Student Resources including the North Carolina Real Estate Manual, Residential
Square Footage Guidelines, & North Carolina Real Estate License Law and
Commission Rules are required and are the student’s responsibility as outlined above.
Broker Continuing Education Program
Purpose of the Continuing Education Program
The primary objective of the mandatory Continuing Education Program is to help assure
that licensees possess the knowledge, skills, and competency necessary to function in
the real estate business in a manner that protects and serves real estate consumers
and the public interest.
Per G.S.93A-38.5, brokers must complete eight (8) credit hours of instruction annually
in subjects approved by the Commission in order to retain eligibility to actively engage in
real estate brokerage. Per Commission Rule 58A .1702, the eight (8) hours must be
comprised of an Update course and four credit hours of elective courses.
Students will be provided all course materials by the start of the class. For synchronous
offerings, the materials will be emailed to them at least 2 days prior to the start of the
class.
Course Description(s)
2025-2026 General Update (GenUp): The 2025-2026 General Update Course as
created by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission provides licensees with current
information relating to Material Facts, Dual Agency, License Law and Rule Updates, as
well as education issues.
2025-2026 Broker-in-Charge Update (BICUP): The 2025-2026 Broker-In-Charge
Update Course as created by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission provides
BIC-Eligible licensees with current information relating to Material Facts, Dual Agency,
License Law and Rule Updates, education issues. and special focus on issues relating
to supervising other licensees.
Elective: Understanding Lead & Molds Tests: What Real Estate agents need to
know
The presence of lead or mold in a home can derail the home buying process.
Participants of this course will learn common characteristics of lead and mold found in
homes and health issues associated with both. The instructor will assist participants
through mold and lead testing. Real estate agents who take this course will be better
equipped to communicate the implications and importance of mold and lead testing to
their clients and will leave the course with strategies to diminish the impact of mold and
lead when buying and selling a property.
Elective: From Soil to Sale: An In-Depth look at North Carolina Septic Systems
This course offers a comprehensive review of septic systems, tailored specifically for
real estate professionals operating in North Carolina. The course covers regulations,
best practices, common challenges, and septic inspections, which are all essential for
real estate transactions involving septic systems.
Elective: VA Home Loan Benefits: A Basic Guide for Today’s Real Estate
Professionals
Participants in this course will gain a clearer understanding of the VA home loan
program, how agents can help more Veteran’s achieve home ownership, how agents
can grow their business as both a buyer’s agent and listing agent by adding one more
tool to your tool belt that gives you an advantage in the market.
Elective: 10 Things You Need to Know About Land
Buying and selling land can be a complicated endeavor. There are dozens of details
that must be researched with many choices to make prior to closing on a transaction.
Failing to properly perform due diligence can mean leaving money on the table, or
worse: buying a property that cannot be used. This class provides the necessary
information for becoming successful in maneuvering through this thing we call "land."

Per Commission Rule 58A .1705(a):
In order to receive credit for completing an approved continuing education course, a
broker shall:
(1) Attend at least 90 percent of the scheduled instructional hours for the course;
(2) Provide his or her legal name and license number to the education provider;
(3) Present his or her pocket card or photo identification card, if necessary; and
(4) Personally perform all work required to complete the course.

Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC All-Inclusive Tuition/Fees
All fees associated with the Continuing Education Courses offered at Real Estate
Mastery Academy, LLC are included in the initial registration fee. All student resources
are provided by Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC.
Registration, Enrollment, and Conduct
Registration
To enroll in a course at Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC, prospective students must:
● Have access to a computer connected to the internet.
● Sign up for a FREE ZOOM account for all online instruction taught
synchronously.
● Keep their web camera on at all times.
● Keep their microphone on mute unless speaking to the instructor or classmates
about relevant course material.
● Be aware that a moderator may be present in the classroom if there is 25
students or more.
Tuition and Fees
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC charges $65.00 and accepts the following forms
of payment:
● All major credit/debit cards
Tuition must be received by the beginning of the first meeting of the course.
Attendance
Students in an in-person or synchronous distance learning Broker Prelicensing Course
must attend a minimum of 80% of all scheduled instructional hours. Attendance for
in-person courses shall be calculated based on the physical attendance and attention of
the student. Attendance for synchronous distance courses shall be based on the
student’s being on camera, interacting appropriately with the instructor and 7 other
students, and participating in required activities. Course monitors will maintain contact
with synchronous students to ensure adequate attendance monitoring.
•Students in an in-person or synchronous distance learning Broker Postlicensing
Course must attend a minimum of 90% of all scheduled instructional hours. Attendance
for in-person courses shall be calculated based on the physical attendance and
attention of the student.
Attendance for synchronous distance courses shall be based on the student’s being on
camera, interacting appropriately with the instructor and other students, and
participating in required activities.
Course monitors will maintain contact with synchronous students to ensure adequate
attendance monitoring.
• Early departures from CE courses delivered in-person or via synchronous distance
learning are prohibited by Rule 58A .1705. Students who depart courses early will not
receive course credit.
• Attendance will be closely monitored, including late arrivals and early departures from
class sessions and from all scheduled breaks, during in-person and synchronous
distance learning courses. All time missed will be recorded for each student by the
course instructor or course monitor/moderator.
Course Cancellation or Rescheduling / Refunds
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course
as needed. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or canceled course will be given a
minimum 24 hours' notice of the cancellation or revised course schedule. If a course is
canceled or rescheduled, students will have the following options:
● Full refund
● Free re-registration for an upcoming version of the canceled course
Withdrawals and Transfers / Refunds
A student may withdraw from a course by giving written notice to the Education Provider
up to 7 days prior to the start of the course. In such event, the student will have the
following options:
● A full refund
● Re-registration in an equivalent upcoming course
If the withdrawal takes place within 7 days prior to the start of the course, Real Estate
Mastery Academy, LLC reserves the right to withhold the student’s registration fee. In
such a case, the student may still register at no cost for an equivalent upcoming course.
A student who terminates enrollment in a course either with written notice to the
Education Provider or by no longer attending a course on or after the beginning of class
will not be entitled to a refund of any portion of paid tuition.
Student Conduct
Students are expected to be respectful at all times to their instructor and peers.
Guidelines:
● Keep webcams on at all times during course instruction.
● Keep microphones on mute unless talking about relevant course material.
● Be respectful when using the chat.
Violations:
● Disrespectful behavior will result in immediate dismissal from the class and
forfeiture of all tuition fees.
● Any time that a student is away from their webcam or caught sleeping will count
as missed class time.
● Students are not allowed to use their computers during class time for purposes
unrelated to the course.
● Use of phones is strictly prohibited unless participating in the course.
Cheating
If a student is discovered cheating during an examination, the following actions will be
taken:
● Immediate dismissal
● Failing course grade
● Ineligibility for any retake or makeup policies
● Forfeiture of all tuition
● Reporting to the NC Real Estate Commission (per Commission Rule 58H
.0203(h))
Use of Technology in the Classroom
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen electronic
devices.
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC DOES provide wireless Internet access for all
in-person classes conducted at our school location. If wireless Internet access is
provided, the Education Provider is not responsible for disruptions in or problems with
the service.
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC DOES allow the use of laptops, tablets, and similar
devices in the classroom. If such devices are permitted, the following guidelines will be
enforced to minimize distraction from the learning environment:
● Students may use electronic devices to enhance their learning, including taking
notes, researching class topics, or viewing the online version of the NC Real
Estate Manual. Sending personal emails/texts, shopping online, visiting social
networking sites, or playing games are considered to be disruptions and are not
acceptable student conduct. If an instructor discovers that a student is using an
electronic device for these (or similar) purposes, the student will be warned about
the offending activity. Should the offending activity continue, the student may be
removed from the course and required to retake the course at a later date and
time.
● If the wireless Internet access is disrupted during a course, Real Estate Mastery
Academy, LLC will provide a printed copy of the NC Real Estate Manual to any
student who had been using the online subscription. The loaned NC Real Estate
Manual must be returned at the end of the session. A student who fails to return
a loaned NC Real Estate Manual textbook agrees to purchase the textbook from
Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC for a cost of $65.
● Instructors, at their discretion, may designate times during which students may
and may not use their electronic devices during class sessions. If an instructor
has directed students to discontinue use of electronic devices, all students must
put away their devices immediately. If a student does not follow an instructor’s
direction to discontinue use, the student will be warned about the offending
activity. Should the offending activity continue, the student may be removed from
the course and required to retake the course at a later date and time.
● Sound on electronic devices must be muted during class sessions. The
possession and use of electronic devices (other than a basic calculator) are
strictly prohibited during all quizzes and exams administered in person via paper
format. In the event of an examination administered electronically, this restriction
will not apply to the technology device the student is utilizing for the actual
examination. Any student who brings a disallowed device into the testing site on
the day of an exam will be required to remove it before the exam begins. Any
device being utilized for testing must be registered by IP address for purposes of
taking the examination and monitoring for any unauthorized activity.
● Classroom courses at Real Estate Mastery Academy, LLC are open to enrolled
students only. Enrolled students may not bring visitors to the classroom without
prior approval of the Education Director.
